Description
The remains of a chapel, located to the south-east of the Chapel of St. Cuthbert, date back to the medieval period. The structure is built from random rubble and squared stone. Currently, the remains of the walls are incorporated into a 20th-century National Trust information centre. Only the jambs of a blocked doorway are still visible. This site is included in the register for its group value.
