Description
This building is a cartshed and granary with an attached dovecote and implement shed, located about 40 yards south-west of Shellacres Farmhouse. It dates from the mid-19th century and is constructed of rubble with ashlar dressings and a Welsh slate roof. The structure is two storeys high.
The shelter shed features nine elliptical arches, with eleven louvred windows and a pitching door above, all set within chamfered surrounds. To the right, there is a taller square, two-storey dovecote that has a round arch containing a stone screen with twelve pigeon holes. To the left, there is a single-storey store. Both the shelter shed and the store have gabled roofs, while the dovecote is topped with a pyramidal roof that has a ball finial.
