Description

The railings located on the north-east side of the Old Grammar School date from the 18th or 19th century. They feature spearhead designs and are supported by seven ball-topped piers. The railings are part of a group that includes the Old Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, an archway, Hallbank House, and a stable block with the Manor House on Hallgate. The stable block, situated between the Grammar School and Hallbank House, is noted for its local interest.
