Description

The archway to the north-west of the Old Grammar School dates from the 19th century. It features a segmental arch made of rubble, with fleur-de-lys designs in the spandrels. This archway is part of a group that includes the Old Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, railings, Hallbank House, and a stable block with the Manor House on Hallgate. The stable block, located between the Grammar School and Hallbank House, is of local interest.
