Description
Manor Cottage is a late 18th century to early 19th century building that extends the northwest wing of Hallbank House. It is two storeys high and features two windows. The exterior is constructed of rubble, and it has sliding sash windows with glazing bars. There is a door to the left that is set in a later surround. The roof is hipped to the west and has two brick chimneys. The rear wall is made of brick and includes three blank windows over two storeys, along with an angled section that has one window, connecting it to Hallbank House.
Manor Cottage is part of a group that includes the Manor Office, Nos 15 to 19 Hallgate, Hallbank House, Bankhead Manor Cottage, and Archway, with Nos 15 and 16 Hallgate being of local interest.
