Description
Hall Bank House is an 18th-century building with later additions, particularly to the roof. It has three storeys and features three windows. The structure is primarily made of brick, accented with stone quoins, lintels, and cills, while the sides and rear are constructed of rubble. The roof is covered with small slates and has later yellow brick crow step verges. The house has late glazed sash windows and a later projecting conservatory porch. The quoins around the glazed front door are painted.
Hall Bank House is part of a group that includes The Old Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, railings and archway, the stable block, and the Manor House on Hallgate. The stable block, located between the Grammar School and Hall Bank House, is of local interest.
