Description

This sundial, dated 1756, is located 16 metres south of the south-west corner of the Church of St. John in Whitfield. It is made of stone and bronze. The structure features a circular column with a moulded capital and base, which supports a square table that holds a bronze sundial. The sundial has an inscription that mentions William Ord.
