Description
This is a house located at 57 Bridge Street, built in the early 18th century. It features brick construction in an irregular bond and is topped with a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and four bays. The right bay contains a four-panel door with an overlight above it, while the windows are 12-pane sash types. There is a brick string course above each floor, and the second floor includes Yorkshire sashes set in raking half dormers. The gabled roof is complemented by tall brick end stacks.
Inside, the ground floor room showcases an early 18th-century fireplace, which is adorned with a panelled overmantel and flanking cupboards that have wood cornices.
