Description
No. 59 Bridge Street is a shop and restaurant dating from the early to mid-19th century. The building is constructed of ashlar stone with a Welsh slate roof, featuring brick chimneys and side walls. It stands three storeys high and has four windows, with angle pilasters at the corners.
To the left, there is a round-headed doorway with a fanlight. In the centre, the shop front includes a central doorway, and to the right, there is a round-headed carriage entry. A corniced fascia runs above the ground floor.
The first floor has sash windows set in plain reveals, while the second floor features a band, with windows that have sills and aprons. The building is topped with a shallow-pitched gabled roof that has flat coping and a large ridge stack.
