Description
This is a late 18th-century barn located 30 metres north-west of Fallowfield House. It is constructed of coursed rubble with cut quoins and dressings, topped by a stone slate roof. The south elevation features two storeys and four bays. There is a central stable door, accessed by a double flight of stone steps, which is set within an alternating-block surround that includes a narrow chamfer. Above the door, there is an inserted window. The barn also has two tiers of slit vents. The gabled left return displays three tiers of slit vents. Adjacent buildings to the east and north are not of interest, but this barn is included for its group value with the house and outbuilding.
