Description

The cross base, likely from the medieval period, is located on the north side of the lane leading to St. Oswald's. It is made of sandstone and consists of a roughly-shaped block that measures approximately 1.5 metres square and 1 metre thick. The block features a rectangular socket and is partly overbuilt by a drystone wall.
