Description

The Robson and Brown headstones, located approximately 15 yards south of the Church of St. Michael, consist of a group of three gravestones dating from 1744, the early to mid-18th century, and 1812. They are made of sandstone.

Two smaller tablets commemorate the Robson family and feature segmental pedimented tops with primitive carvings of angels in the pediments. The inscriptions on these stones are worn.

The larger gravestone is dedicated to George Brown and dates from 1812. It includes an oval panel that contains carvings of mason's tools.
