Description

The screen wall attached to the south-east corner of the stable block at Cresswell Hall was built around 1892 by John Shaw. It is made of tooled-and-margined ashlar and was originally part of a quadrant wall that connected the stable block to the hall, which was demolished in 1937. The tall wall features a chamfered set-back and has pierced square panels with arched sills and chamfered coping. The ends of the wall are somewhat in ruins.
