Description
There are three boundary stones located on the boundary with Denwick, likely dating from the 18th century. These stones are made of sandstone and are rectangular pillars with roughly segmental tops, standing between 0.45 and 0.65 metres high. The stones have incised letters, with an "S" on the north side and an "N" on the south side. One stone, positioned at NU 13770852, could not be found if the locations indicated by the Ordnance Survey are accurate.
