Description
There are two boundary stones located on the boundary with Alnwick Civil Parish, likely dating from the 18th century. These stones are made of cut sandstone and are shaped as gable-topped rectangular pillars, standing 0.60 metres high. The north slope of the top of each stone features incised Roman letters "A M," which stand for Alnwick Moor. At the time of the survey, the eastern stone was lying flat, while an intermediate stone that was indicated on the current Ordnance Survey map at location NU 14350792 could not be found.
