Description

Walker’s Pottery East bottle kiln is an early 19th-century structure. It is built of brick in English garden wall bond 3 and 1. The kiln features openings with wooden lintels set beneath segmental relieving arches on the south and south-west sides, along with later buttresses made of engineering brick. The overall height of the kiln is approximately 15 meters. It is also designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
