Description
The forecourt walls and gate piers to Cross House East and Cross House West were built in 1754. They are made of squared stone with decorative dressings. The low wall features a shallow arched coping that ramps up to the right return and flanks a central gate. This gate is flanked by piers topped with low pyramidal caps. At the southwest corner, there is a pair of taller gate piers that have moulded bases, attached jambs, and moulded flat caps.
