Description

The building is a dairy parlour, dating from 1830, situated to the east of No. 5. It is constructed of painted and rendered material with a slate roof. The parlour has a square plan and features a verandah on each side. The verandah is distinguished by ornate curved timber eaves boarding, supported by chamfered timber posts. A pyramidal roof incorporates iron guttering and a square ventilator topped with louvred openings on each face, all covered with a pyramidal lead roof. The north front has a recessed central four-panel door, flanked by single-light casement windows. Each of the other frontages has a single two-light casement window, all with leaded diamond lights. The interior features a stone floor, a stone shelf, and glazed tiling.
