Description
The Gate Lodge to Angerton Hall is a lodge built in the 19th century. It is constructed from squared stone with dressings and has a slate roof. The building has a T-plan layout and is a single storey with three bays. It features a plinth, and the central bay slightly projects forward, showcasing double doors in a chamfered surround beneath a steep gable with bargeboards. This central bay is flanked by two-light mullioned windows. The roof verge overhangs the returns, and the left return displays a sash window in a chamfered surround. There is a set-back left bay that leads to a rear wing, which includes a two-light mullioned window and a corniced ridge stack. A 20th-century extension is present on the far left but is not of interest.
