Description

The yard walls with attached outbuildings to the west of Seaton Delaval Hall are mostly from the 18th century. They are constructed of squared stone, except for the south face of the south wall, which is made of brick in Dearne bond. The outbuildings on the south side have a pantile roof, although one section has been replaced with 20th-century tiles. The north elevation of the north range is a single storey with five bays, featuring 18-pane sash windows set in architraves. To the right are the jambs of a former archway leading into the yard. The pent range on the south side of the yard has lower walls on the west.
