Description

The Hen and Chickens Hotel is an 18th-century building located at 15 Sandgate. It features a stuccoed exterior with rusticated quoins and decorative gable scrolls. The hotel has three storeys and includes five new sash windows on each of the upper floors. An old brick chimney adds to its character. The lower wing of the building has been demolished.
