Description

There are two medieval gravestones located approximately one yard north of Christ Church. These gravestones date from the 13th or 14th century and are made of sandstone.

The larger stone, which measures about 76 inches by 12 inches, has chamfered edges and features an inscription of a bracelet cross on the top. A footstone is positioned against one end of this larger gravestone.

Next to it is a smaller stone, measuring around 40 inches by 6 inches. This stone is battered and has a broader chamfered base, with the sides panelled and featuring roll-moulded edges.
