Description
The building is a barn and gingang located approximately 60 yards west of Coupland Farmhouse, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of random rubble with sandstone quoins and surrounds, topped with a pantiled roof. The two-storey barn features two boarded doors set in alternating-block surrounds and small windows for the granary on the first floor. It has a steeply-pitched roof with reverse-stepped gables and thin raised coping.
The attached gingang has straight sides and a hexagonal end, supported by square and oblong piers, with the spaces between now filled with wood boarding. It also has a steeply-pitched roof.
