Description

Callerton House is a house dated 1724. It is constructed of ashlar with a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high and five bays wide. The central entrance features a six-panelled door with an overlight set within a dated raised surround; an oval panel above bears the initials “I.F.”. Windows to the right of the door have stone cross details within raised surrounds. Windows to the left of the door have similar surrounds, but the crosses have been lost, and they contain four-pane sashes. A first-floor band runs along the facade. The steeply-pitched gabled roof has flat coping, kneelers, and end stacks.
