Description

This boundary stone, dating from the second quarter of the 19th century, is located on the north side of the footpath, 70 metres east of Whiteside Cottage in Broomhaugh and Riding. It is made of sandstone and stands 0.35 metres high, featuring a well-cut design with an elliptical-arched top. The initials "TWB" for Thomas William Beaumont are inscribed on the south side, while "CBG" for Charles Bacon Grey is on the north side.
