Description
This 18th-century bridge spans the River Aln and is located 470 metres north-west of West Brizlee. It is constructed from tooled-and-margined stone that is of near-ashlar quality, featuring rusticated voussoirs and end piers. The bridge has a segmental arch supported by imposts, which are flanked by shields; to the left is a Percy crescent and to the right are five fusils of Old Percy. Below the parapet, there is a moulded string with chamfered coping, and the end piers are flat-topped.
