Description
The piers and railings in front of Whiteley Shield Methodist Chapel date from the mid-19th century. They are made of stone and cast iron. The square stone piers have pyramidal caps and support a 20th-century wooden gate. The railings feature lotus standards and extend back on either side of the path to connect with the chapel porch, with the bases of the railings not exposed.
