Description
The squash court and arcade, located 50 metres north-west of Doxford Hall, were likely built around 1910, possibly by Robert Mauchlen, and incorporate early 19th-century farm buildings. The front is constructed of tooled ashlar, while the rear features squared stone. The squash court has a flat roof and is a two-storey building with a 12-pane short sash window beneath a 16-pane sash window on its south end, along with a three-panel door on the left side. To the right, there is a four-bay arcade with round arches supported by alternating round and square piers, topped with a pent roof and a lower back wall. This structure is included for its group value.
