Description

The remains of a cross are located approximately 15 yards south of the Church of St. Andrew in Bolam. This medieval structure is made of sandstone and consists of a square base with a rectangular tapering shaft that measures about 9 by 18 inches at the base. Approximately 3 feet of the shaft remains, featuring stop-chamfered angles.
