Description
Middle Farmhouse is a house that dates from the early 18th century and was remodeled around 1800. It features a squared stone front with tooled quoins and dressings, while the returns are made of rubble. The roof is covered with Welsh slate and has stacks that have been rebuilt in brick on their original bases. The house has two storeys and three bays. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door with a plain overlight, set within an alternating-block surround. The windows are four-pane casements with tooled lintels and slightly projecting sills. The gables are coped, and there are stacks at each end.
Inside, there is an understair cupboard door made of six fielded panels, which is hung on H hinges. The interior also features early 19th-century cast-iron fire surrounds.
