Description
East Fenton Farmhouse is a house built around 1830, constructed from ashlar stone and topped with a Scottish slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features a three by two bay layout, with two lower L-shaped wings that project to the rear. The exterior showcases rusticated alternating quoins. The central doorway is adorned with Tuscan pilasters, a triglyph frieze, and a cornice. The windows, which have raised surrounds, are sash windows, although the intermediate glazing bars have been removed. The roof is hipped, and the returns feature similar windows along with 12-pane sash windows. The hipped roofs also have rendered ridge stacks. At the rear, there is a round-arched stair window.
Inside, the farmhouse includes six-panelled doors and internal shutters, as well as a staircase with square balusters and a wreathed handrail.
