Description

This listing describes a pair of cottages located approximately 40 yards north of Thirlings, dating from the mid-19th century. The cottages are constructed from snecked stone and feature a Welsh slate roof. They are single-storey buildings with six uneven bays and rusticated quoins.

In the center bays, there are two boarded doors with overlights positioned closely together. Flanking these doors are 12-pane sash windows set in chamfered surrounds, followed by a wide gap and additional similar 12-pane sashes.

The cottages also have a moulded cornice and a hipped roof that is topped with two corniced ridge stacks.
