Description

The summerhouse, built in 1904 by Sir Edwin Lutyens, is located 70 metres east of Angerton Hall. It is constructed from roughly-squared rock-faced stone and features a stone slate roof. The structure is square in shape and is open on all sides, except for a dwarf wall that supports square corner piers and intermediate circular piers. It has heavy cruciform beams and a pyramidal roof.
