Description
The summerhouse, located 400 metres east of Blagdon Hall, is likely from the late 18th century and underwent alterations in the 19th century. It is constructed from roughly-squared stone with rock-faced dressings around the windows and features a Lakeland slate roof. The tall front wall has three stepped round arches and a segmental coped gable. There are plain window openings, which have lost their carpentry, on each side, and a circular window at the rear, with the roof hipped towards the back. Inside, there are three arched recesses at the rear, each adorned with plaster medallions above.
