Description

The garden walls and gatepiers located south of Hawkwell House date from the early 18th century. They are constructed of random rubble and ashlar. The walls are approximately 0.9 metres high, increasing to about 1.8 metres at the south side. The south wall features a central break, which is flanked by tall rusticated piers that have cornices and ball finials on top.
