Description
The Game Larder, located 20 metres north of Stagshaw House, is a building likely dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble and features tooled-and-margined lintels and window sills, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The larder has a circular plan and includes two slatted doors and four barred windows. Its low-pitched conical roof is equipped with a slatted central vent. Inside, the roof structure reveals a framework of intersecting tie-beams that support a central post.
