Description
The terrace walls to the south of Stagshaw House were built in 1920 by the owner, Mrs A.W. Straker. They are constructed from snecked stone with ashlar dressings. The walls feature a flat coping and open balustrades between pilasters. There are two sets of steps leading down, with the lower parts splitting into two curving flights around a broad pillar. Gadrooned urns are positioned flanking the steps and on the short return wall at each end of the terrace. These walls are included for their group value.
