Description
The statuary in the sculpture garden, located 40 metres southeast of the Stone Bridge, dates from the mid-19th century and is probably the work of J.C. Lough. The sculptures are made of marble and feature a central nude reclining male figure adorned with a head-dress. To the left, there is a kneeling female figure who is lightly draped, while to the right stands Apollo playing his lyre. In the left background, there is a female figure in classical dress holding pipes, and on the far right is Flora, who is partly draped.
