Description

Kirkwhelpington Bridge is a bridge built in 1819. It is constructed of ashlar and features a single broad segmental arch. There are band marks at the base of the parapet, which is chamfered and splays outward on the south side to accommodate a wide roadway. The bridge has square end piers topped with pyramidal caps.
