Description
The Former Church of St Andrew is a chapel-of-ease built in 1886. It is constructed of brick with sandstone dressings and has a Welsh slate roof. The building features a nave with a north aisle and a chancel, with a later porch added to the west end. The nave has three bays and the chancel has two bays, separated externally by a gabled buttress with offsets. The windows are rectangular with hollow-chamfered openings and perpendicular tracery. There is a blocked pointed arch in the west gable, which has a later pointed window in the center of the blocking. The small porch has a chamfered south doorway surrounded by quoin stones. The interior has been altered, with all fittings removed, and the building is now used as a parish hall.
