Description
This is a threshing barn and gin gang, now used for storage, located 10 metres west of Number 24 (Manor Farmhouse). It dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century and is constructed of squared limestone. The barn features a corrugated-asbestos roof, while the gin gang has a pantiled roof. The barn is two storeys high with five bays and includes two rows of breathers, a boarded door at the rear, and a pitched roof with reverse-stepped gables. The gin gang, which is centrally located on the barn, has a large square plan and rectangular piers that support a partly hipped roof. There are 20th-century additions on the left return and rear of the barn that are not of special interest. This building is included for its group value.
