Description

The curved wall to the south-east of Coatham Hall is a garden wall from the early 19th century. It features a squared limestone outer face and a brick inner face. The tall, flat-coped wall extends from late 20th-century brick gate piers to the east of Coatham Hall, curving towards the south-west for 40 metres. The brick piers and the wall facing Coatham Lane, which have been heightened in brick, are not considered of special interest. This wall is included in the listing for its group value with Coatham Hall.
