Description
12, 14, 15, and 16 High Row are early 18th-century buildings that stand three storeys tall with a total of nine windows. They are constructed of old narrow irregular red brick and feature a parapet front that partially conceals a high-pitched roof, which is now slated. The ridge and end stacks have been altered. The four left bays are stuccoed, and modern windows have been inserted. The remaining bays have stuccoed lintels on the second floor and some first-floor windows. The first-floor windows of Nos 15 and 16 have been altered to late 19th-century Norman Shaw type glazed bows. No 14 features a late 19th-century shop front, while the others have modern fronts. There is an entrance to Clark's Yard and No 13 located between Nos 12 and 14. No 12 has a five-bay 18th-century rear wing that adjoins No 13 and is built in a similar bond, made of pinkish brick with gauged brick arches. It has two windows with radial heads on the left.
