Description

The bandstand in South Park is a late 19th-century structure featuring a cast iron frame and an octagonal shape. It has a shallow roof topped with a central cast iron basket finial and decorated with patterned antefixae on each side. The eaves cornice is chevron moulded, and the slender cast iron columns are adorned with patterned radial and lateral spandrels that create arches around the bandstand. Below, there is a patterned cast iron handrail.
