Description

This is a wall with a two-light traceried window located 40 metres west of Carlbury Hall. The window, dating from the 15th century, has been re-set in a late 19th-century wall that is positioned at right angles to the boundary wall of Carlbury Hall. The wall is constructed of rubble, while the window is made of dressed stone featuring Perpendicular tracery. The square-headed two-light window has cusped trefoiled heads and is topped by a fragmentary hoodmould. It is said that the window originally came from Neasham Abbey in County Durham.
