Description
Nos. 34 and 35 on The Green is a house, now divided into two dwellings, built around 1830. It is constructed of Flemish-bond brick and features a Welsh slate roof with brick chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays. The entrance to No. 35 includes a six-panel door with a patterned overlight, set in a wooden doorcase on the right. To the left, there is an elliptical coach arch that contains a six-panel door for No. 34. Between the arch and the doorway, there is a 12-pane sash window, and above, there are three additional 12-pane sash windows. The windows are adorned with rubbed-brick flat arches and projecting painted stone sills. A painted stone band runs between the storeys, and the low-pitched roof features stone-coped gables. The building has end and ridge stacks with top bands. The adjacent No. 36 on the right has been altered and is not of special interest.
