Description

41 The Green is a house built in the mid-19th century. It features Flemish-bond brickwork and a Welsh slate roof with a brick chimney stack. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. The entrance includes a six-panel door with an overlight, set within a wooden doorcase that has narrow panelled pilasters. To the right, there is a late 19th-century, two-storey canted bay window made of wood. Above the door, a 12-pane sash window has a rubbed-brick flat arch and a projecting stone sill. The roof has a raised verge on the right side, and there is a chimney stack at the right end. This house is included in the listing for its group value.
