Description

This is a mid-18th century farmhouse with alterations from the 19th century and a late 19th-century front garden wall, railings, and gate. The house is constructed of roughcast rubble, painted white, with pantiled and Welsh slate roofs and brick chimney stacks. It comprises a main block with a set-back wing to the right. The main block is a two-storey, three-bay structure. It has a central replaced four-panel door with overlight and replaced sash windows with projecting sills. The roof is steeply pitched with raised verges and end stacks. A two-storey, two-bay wing to the right features replaced sashes (one on the ground floor and two above) and a low-pitched Welsh slate roof with a right end stack. A two-storey, two-bay gabled wing is located on the left rear of the main block, with a low flat-coped front garden wall featuring rounded corners and return sections to the house. Thin railings with a top rail only are supported by paired standards with linking semicircular tops. A similar central gate is flanked by thin turned-baluster iron posts.
