Description
The garden wall to the west of Edge Knoll is an early 18th-century structure made of coarse sandstone rubble, featuring quoins and a flat stone coping. The wall stands approximately 2 metres high and breaks forward from the left end of Edge Knoll, ramping down to the front of the garden. At the right end of the house, there is another section, also around 2 metres high, which includes a gateway with a dropped key set in a moulded segmental-headed surround, before it ramps down.
