Description

This table tomb, located 1 metre south of the chancel of the Church of St Andrew, is made of ashlar and dates from around 1842. It features a moulded slab supported by six square legs, which have a base, tapered shaft, and moulded abaci. The tomb is set on a moulded slab and bears an inscription commemorating Thomas Parkinson, who died in 1842, along with members of his family up to 1892.
